The Release of Michelle Branch's third Album Have Been Put Off
|
|
Branch tells Billboard that the album sounds like "a really natural progression from the Wreckers" and should be released by the end of the year.
So Let's just go over how it begun:
On October 31, 2007, Branch announced that she was working on a new solo album. MTV confirmed that the album will debut in summer 2008, followed by a tour.
On April 10, 2008, at her first solo concert in almost 4 years, Branch announced the title of her third studio album as Everything Comes and Goes.
During June 2008, she has played several live shows in preparation for the albums release with her sister Nicole singing backing vocals.
She announced to Billboard Magazine that her new album will stay on the country route, which she is known for through The Wreckers. A few song titles discussed were "Long Goodbye", "Texas In The Mirror", "This Way", and the haunting ballad 'Crazy Ride', which is a lullaby to her daughter, Owen. She also refers to the album as a "break-up album" because she ended her partnership with Wreckers bandmate, Jessica Harp.
As of June 2008, the release date for Everything Comes and Goes has been revised by Branch, saying she hopes it will be released "before the end of the year." The reason for the change has not been made public.
A new Branch song, Together, appears on the soundtrack for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. |

The Wreckers' Tuna Meltdown
|
|
September 14, 2006-- With The Wreckers enjoying number one success right out of the box with their first single, "Leave The Pieces," you would think life would be stress-free. But X Radio reports that Michelle Branch still stresses about her food, as evident in a little story her duo partner Jessica Harp disclosed. "Poor Michelle, she does have this one little problem," says Jessica. "When you order food from a restaurant or fast-food, you want it to be correct, right? [With] Michelle, there¡¯s always something wrong with her food. Six people at the table and everyone¡¯s order is right except hers--that¡¯s the kind of luck she has with food...(Click "Read More" to real the full story) |

The Wreckers Makes Country Music History!
|
MICHELLE BRANCH's new duo has made country music history by becoming the first twosome to top the US Hot Country Songs chart with their first single for 15 years. Branch's THE WRECKERS have hit the top of the country chart with LEAVE THE PIECES - a first for a country couple since BROOKS + DUNN scored a number one with BRAND NEW MAN in 1991. And they're only the second female duo since the inception of the chart in 1944 to hit the top. The Wreckers is a collaboration between Branch and longtime pal JESSICA HARP.

Scans from Teen People's July Issue
|
Here are the scans from Teen People's July issue. Sorry for updating this too late. I had got these scans almost 2 weeks ago, but I didn't update them until today. Because there was something wrong with my site. It seemed to be hacked by hacks, becasue all the news and updates that I had posted before were disappeared.
And there is something that I wanna tell the hack who hacked my site: I'm angry, but I don't want to blame on anybody, becaue it doesn't help. Sincerely , you should do something right means something to somebody rather than undermine the fruits of other people's work if you have such great knowleage on computer. I really hope you can, ya know what I mean.
